Ant Thomas plans to release “Only if it Makes Cents”, in the fall of 2018. A former Senior Legislative Aide for the 2nd Suffolk District in the Commonwealth Massachusetts and a survivor of street violence, he walked away from; “Only if it Makes Cents” is a project that uses art to share a story of perseverance from his challenging upbringing in the inner city, in hopes people with similar issues connect to and are inspired by his experiences. He has opened for Cornell West, performed at the Hard Rock Café, and does an annual performance at Norfolk Prison.
Ant Thomas’ music provides social commentary to spark cultural conversation and serve as an inspiration for young people who are working from the bottom to create in their lives, with nothing to lose. It is a reminder that there is no where else to go, but up.
